Eight of Wands and Seven of Wands
This week, we have two cards that highlight our strength and power when we invest in our passions and allow the universe to guide us. We are prepared for things to unfold and seek the highest and best for our future.
Our first card is the Eight of Wands, representing powerful, rapid energy. It signifies acceleration, with things unfolding quickly.
In this period of rapid change, it’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed. However, taking time to ground ourselves is essential. Embracing calming practices will empower us to navigate these transitions with confidence and resilience.
Connecting with our community, spending time in nature, or engaging in creative hobbies are all effective grounding activities. A short walk or gentle stretching can also help reconnect you with your body.
It’s helpful to know it’s not all intense with the Eight of Wands. This card also helps clear blockages. The quick, light energy of this card will push obstacles aside.
We might feel like we can tackle a project that was difficult for us just a few weeks ago or finally resolve a relationship issue. It could be that we have more time now or that we just feel more inspired. Whatever the reason, you will encounter fresh insights and open new doors.
Our next card is the Seven of Wands. This card is centered around courage. It is about feeling our fears and doing it anyway. It calls us to acknowledge our limitations or anxieties and to carry them with us as we move forward, never letting them shrink our world.
There is always something to worry about, whether it's a new fear in our lives or the news we see each day. If we let these fears control us, we will miss out on so much. We have a choice: we can either focus on our fears or tap into our strength and continue to grow.
Ask yourself: What are you really afraid of? What is holding you back? How can you both recognize the fear and still proceed forward?
The Seven of Wands does not want the fear to hold us back. It reminds us that if we did not feel fear, courage would not be needed. We have been working on our dreams, and it is time to have the courage to take action.
We place our feet firmly on the ground and take steady steps toward our goals. We possess all the skills and strengths we need within ourselves. We are prepared to embrace our power and purpose in this world. We harness the energy of the cosmos to support us on our journey.
Mantra for the week: Swift energy fuels my evolution. I am strong and unstoppable in my courage.

Thank you for keeping the weekly readings going while Tanaaz is on leave, they are my favorite part of the week :) This reading resonates so much. I just finished a chapter in “Outrageous Openness, Letting the Divine Take the Lead” that said similar about allowing the universe to guide us. I often overthink and needed the reminder that I don’t have to figure it all out myself. I should trust in whatever the universe has in store, ask for help, and let it unfold. Even when I’m afraid. Thank you <3
